Students will study various styles as they relate the acquired skills to the history and significance of music within a global society. Students will study music as a means of self-expression and cultural relevance and identity, learning how music is shared in various communities of learners.
Students will study the roles and responsibilities of musicians and their work as they consider creating meaningful, relevant, and quality works. Musical learners will strive to be inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced, and reflective musicians who can demonstrate their work at a high level with success.
