Music and Psychological Responses

My topic is to conduct a scientific study to this question; Can different types of music lead to different psychological responses? I consider this to be challenging because I will need to figure out how to conduct a study and I will need to figure out how to test my project’s hypothesis in a way that is useful and not confusing. I am always interested to learn more about psychology and what things come into play of how we act in certain situations. I already know a little bit about how to conduct a study from my current AP Psychology class and how to test psychological hypotheses, so I am already more intrigued on how this study will go. My overall goal of my website is to inform people about what I learned and what I did to get my findings.

I plan to research on all of the information on how to conduct a scientific study, make my graphs of participants responses, google form data, the types of songs I ask people what they listen to (Country, R&B, Classical, Hip-Hop/Rap, Pop, Alternative, Rock, Gospel, and EDM music). I also am going to include the google form survey questions, which will be on the "Survey Information" page. The data will come from each participant's answers from the situations and their daily mood. For the graphs, each type of music will have its own subpage on the website and will have 5 pie charts each. One pie chart is going to be for how many people said which daily mood they normally have, and the other four graphs will be for the answers of each of the situations. That will go on each tab for all the types of music. My hypothesis results, and what I learned will be posted on the website too. I chose to make a website because I think it will keep everything organized and it will be the best way to share everything that I do with my project.
