With the collaborative qualities, ease of access, and ability to use BYOD tools, our school is moving towards Google Suite for Education. If you're interested learning more, click here for Google 101, a class through Wake County's Canvas online learning or set up an appointment with one of our teachers already using it.
Ideas for getting started with Google Apps:
- Print personalized Login cards for each student to get you started. Watch this video for how to login.
- Have small groups collaborate on a Doc or a Slides presentation.
- Join our Google Classroom - video tutorial here
- If Google Classroom seems like a little too much, you could create a Google Site (like this one) for your Classroom to communicate with parents. Video Here!
- Create a Google Form as an assessment or evaluation for students after a unit.
- Create a template in Google Docs for your lesson plans in Google Docs to be edited, accessed, and printed easily from any device when needed.
- Use your personal Google Calendar to be able to see school events and personal events in one application on your PC or cell phone.
