Hi! I'm Ms. Newton, and I am so excited to get this year started and get to know you all! This will be my 10th year of teaching, and my 2nd year at Joyner. First Grade is such a special year in school where so much growth happens, both socially and academically. I'm honored to be a part of that growth! Outside of the classroom, you'll find me at a concert, shopping for vinyl records (be sure to check out our classroom record player!), thrift shopping, spending time with my friends and family (and brand new nephew!), and relaxing at the beach! I have a huge passion for music of all kinds, and love to share that passion with my students in the classroom. I truly cannot wait to learn and grow together this year!
