Chinese 1 is the second-year Chinese course at Moore Square. It is a year-long high school credit course. During second-year Chinese, students continue to learn Chinese vocabulary, phrases and sentences and experience Chinese culture with me. The curriculum includes speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Learning content mainly focuses on "School & Life," including learning how to discuss their daily schedules,  school subjects, sports, hobbies, clothes, and clothes shopping, and feelings (comfortable, exciting, happy, etc.). By the end of the year, students should be able to recognize and write some Chinese characters, make basic Chinese sentences, carry out basic conversations regarding their daily lives and school lives,  and have an intermediate understanding of Chinese culture.
