Artificial Intelligence can help teachers increase equitable access for diverse learners by differentiating materials. By decreasing time spent on repetitive tasks, teachers have more time for students. We explore two AI tools below: Canva AI and MagicSchool.AI

Canva for Education includes a powerful suite of AI tools—collectively called Magic Studio—designed to help teachers save time, engage students, and streamline classroom tasks. The tools include Magic Write, an AI writing assistant that generates lesson plans, summaries, differentiated content, and teaching materials from simple prompts. Another tool, Magic Design, instantly turns topic prompts into polished slide decks, allows teachers to reformat and repurpose content across formats (e.g. poster to slide, document to video), edit images, add animations, adjust layouts, and create visuals—even without design expertise. For educators that need additional support, Canva offers a free 60 minute certification course. Canva AI helps teachers to create engaging, accessible, and personalized learning experiences while reducing administrative burden.

MagicSchool.ai is an educator-centered AI platform designed to streamline teaching tasks and lesson prep, and promote responsible AI usage among students. It offers over 70 AI tools specifically for teachers including lesson planning, assessment and rubric generation, IEP writing, differentiated content, and parent communication.

Educators report saving an average of 7–10 hours per week, reclaiming that time for lesson refinement, student engagement, and personal well‑being.
