Welcome to the 8th grade year!

I am Mr. Febres and am currently in my 10th year as a school counselor. I started my school counseling career in NYC, where I lived most of my life and graduated as the Vice President of Sigma-Chi-Iota Tau Chapter at Lehman College's School Counseling Program in 2016. 

I started my career working for Grand Street Settlement as an Academic Advisor at the NY Harbor School, East Side House Settlement as a Student Advisor at Bronx Haven High School and officially started my first position as a school counselor with the NYC Department of Education as the lead counselor at P.S/M.S 29- The Melrose School. 

In my latest positions I have come to Heritage Middle School from Rolesville Middle School (8th grade counselor) and Pine Hollow Middle School (7th grade counselor). I enjoy anime, video games, WWE, and sports (Carolina Panthers & NY Yankees fan). Lastly I am a proud husband, father and doggy father. 

I am excited & honored to be a part of the Heritage Middle School community in my second year. My main goals are to help support our students in getting to high school and to ensure that students are coming to a school where they feel comfortable to learn and grow daily.
