Arrive during the time of 7:15 & 7:40, go to the registration desk and see a Check-In Team Member. They will direct you to your team lead, your team lead should provide you with all of your supplies for the day. Once 7:45 hits you will go to the field to meet with the Course Manager and all other Course Teams to go over Guidelines, EAP, & Duties with the teams. After this, stop by the start/finish aid station for the complementary volunteer chicken biscuit. You will then be sent to site location for the day, so remember to use the restroom or grab anything you need before hitting the trail.
Remain stationed at your respective area providing encouragement to runners as they go by! Provide traffic control/ parking assistance. Team H: Runners are our priority stop traffic in both lanes when runners are preparing to cross, this will ensure we do not impede with their time. You should have a team of 4 position yourselves one per lane on each side and help keep cars back until the course is clear on both sides. Parking Lot Team: Ensure the course remains unobstructed by guiding people to their spots and supervise patrons crossing across the road/course ensuring their safety. If a medical incident occurs immediately call it in via the walkies or get in touch with an area supervisor with a walkie and a corresponding response will be put into action based on the EAP level activated.
Once a CFA5k Management Team Member gives the all clear to close the course the Traffic Team Lead should gather all team members and reposition them in the parking lot and on "Foundations Drive" to ensure that there is no congestion.
