Band

6th Grade Band

Students will embark on a journey into the world of band in this course. They will learn beginning techniques and skills on their instrument while learning to read and make music. This is a skill that they continue to grow all the way through high school, and then even after if they choose. Requirements: Students do not have to have musical experience. They will have to rent/buy an instrument.

7th Grade Band

Students will continue their journey with band in this course. They will begin to play full ensemble pieces and will begin to hone their skills for their specific instrument. Requirements: Students must have been in band for one year prior.

8th Grade Band

Students will be in their last leg of their middle school band experience with this course! They will experience different genres and high levels of solo and ensemble music in preparation for high school level playing. Requirements: Students must have been in band for tw
