2024-25 School Year
Career Day with Mock interviews -
Friday, May 9th, 2025
This will be set up like a typical career fair where students get to decide who to visit at different tables. There will also be mock interviews for 8th graders.
Recruiting Participants: This will be conducted similar to a regular career fair where each participant has a table with a tri-fold display. The slide template for you to personalize and trifold display are both provided. If you send the completed slides to me early enough (April 25th), I will assemble your display. You should have a few questions or "hooks" prepared to gain or gauge students' interest in your career, and be prepared to answer questions. You will also be tasked with "interviewing" a few students for about 10 minutes each. You will be provided with a list of questions closer to event time, but you can add your own. (Feel free to suggest questions for me to add to the general list!)

Global Marketplace -
Friday, March 21th, 2025
Students will rotate from classroom to classroom to learn about and explore careers that need a global mindset to understand and interact with people from other cultures.
Recruiting Participants: Participants will give short ~10 minute talk or presentations with a few minutes for questions. A slide template is provided as a guideline for information to share. We are looking for people who can highlight the global connections in their career or company such as working with or marketing for other cultures, requiring knowledge of international regulations, knowledge of international competitors, etc. You would be giving this same presentation to 4 groups of students within each grade, so 12 repetitions.
