Hello Cedar Fork Stingrays! My name is Monica Gibbs. I am so happy to be one of the school counselors at Cedar Fork Elementary School! I have worked in Wake County for 17 years. Before I came to Cedar Fork, I taught third grade for 7 years in Apex.

I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Go Tar Heels! I also have a BA in Elementary Education from North Carolina Central University and a Masters of Education in School Counseling from North Carolina State University.

I grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina. In my spare time I like to run. I ran my first marathon in March 2014! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love to travel. Some places I have been include Hawaii, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and England.
