2nd Grade Enrichment

Students will work on using mathematics based critical thinking to solve 2nd grade level math problems.  We will also practice Singapore Math style problem solving strategies.

2nd Quarter:  We focused on reading and critical thinking.  We then spent the following weeks learning about analogies.  We used thinking maps to compare and contrast two stories with each other.  Then we created our own analogies using the two stories.
