Sign up for Talking Points!

me in second grade! 21 years ago!

my twin kittens: Luna (grey) + Loki (orange) when they were babies! They are 2 and a half now.

My name is Ms. Paige Annolino, but you can call me Ms. A. I am so excited to be your teacher this year! I currently live in Raleigh with my two kitties, Luna and Loki, and this will be my third year at Barton Pond!

I grew up in a small town in Illinois, right next to Joliet. I fell in love with cheerleading at the age of 3, competing on multiple teams as a kid and throughout high school. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017, where I studied Elementary Education, specializing in Math, and ended my 15-year 'career' as a Fighting Illini cheerleader.

This will be my 9th year teaching, and my third year in Wake County! I taught 3rd grade for one year in Illinois and then moved to Indiana, where I taught 1st for three years and 2nd for one year. I am so excited to be able to continue my passion and to help all students reach not only their potential but also develop lifelong passions of their own.

I am very excited to get to know you, your child, and your family. As we progress through the school year, it is so important to me to keep an open line of communication, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns! We are in this together! Let's have a great year, Bullfrogs!
