Welcome to my page! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this school year!

I have been teaching for almost 16 years! This will be my 14th year teaching 2nd grade in Wake County and I am a National Board Certified Teacher. I previously taught at Alston Ridge Elementary in Cary, NC. Before that, I taught Pre-K and Special Education (K-1) for Northampton County Schools. 

I grew up near Syracuse, NY and moved to North Carolina in 2010. I graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a degree in Childhood and Special Education. I currently live in North Raleigh with my husband, two sons, and dog. My son Samuel is in 3rd grade here at Barton Pond! My son Grayson will be 3 years old in December. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year of learning and fun!
