I am Jennifer Calderwood,  the School Psychologist at Alston Ridge Elementary. I also serve a high school in WCPSS.  This is my twentieth year as a School Psychologist in the public schools both in Virginia and North Carolina.  I completed a B.S. in Psychology at High Point University before entering the School Psychology program at George Mason University where I earned a Masters of Arts in School Psychology with a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS). I have worked part time for most of my career while raising my three children. 

I truly enjoy the relationships I get to build working with students and families, supporting their academic and social emotional growth.  Away from work, my time is spent at a variety of sporting events with my husband cheering on my two sons and also spending time with my daughter when she is home from college.
