As School Counselors, we support our students through various challenges that may arise during the school year. To do this, we work with students individually or in small groups. Groups meet once a week for 6-8 sessions for 30-40 minutes each time. These groups take place during the school day and do not interfere with core instruction.
The sessions are designed to help students improve their:
Social Skills
Self-Confidence
Self Control
Emotional Regulation & Resiliency
Grief / Transitions
Individual session details:
short term (6-8 sessions)

Counselor works with student one-to-one to focus solely on that students challenges
No parent consent form is needed to receive these services
Small group details:
short term (6-8 sessions)
30-40 minute sessions
Counselor works with a small group of students (no more than 5) with similar concerns, allowing them to share experiences, learn from each other, and gain support from peer in their same grade level.
