Honors Contemporary Law and Justice
Welcome to Law and Justice!!
In this course, students will develop an understanding of the role of law and the legal system in the larger political, economic and social contexts in which they function. Students will view, discuss, read, and think about key issues in terms of civil and criminal law and consider areas such as law enforcement and criminal justice reform.

About Us:
-Mr. Baker started his teaching career in WCPSS in 1995. He has a BA in English from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Masters in Social Studies Education from Campbell University. Mr. Baker has taught at East Cary Middle, Salem Middle, and helped to open Apex Friendship in 2015. He is married and has 3 sons. Mr. Baker grew up in Belmont, NC.
