I am thrilled to be Team Dream's Science teacher!  I have a Liberal Arts and Science degree with a focus on Middle School education from Virginia Tech.  I am a mother of two boys, Matthew and Nathan.  Matthew graduated from UNC in May and Nathan is a sophmore at NC State.  Our family is rounded out with two doodles, Boomer and Linus. 

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, needlepoint, and hiking.  My husband and I have been tackling sections of the Mountain to Sea trail and this summer finished backpacking 40 miles at Glacier National Park in Montana.  

I am looking forward to exploring the amazing world of Science!
