The Clear Spring Area Band Boosters is the parent/community organization that supports the Clear Spring band AND orchestra programs. We would love for you to get involved!
Chaperones may sign up below or can contact the Band Boosters at csblazerband@gmail.com.
At parades, band chaperones are asked to -
wear the chaperone uniform to match the band
help band students get ready, including emergency uniform fittings and/or french-braiding hair
assist with equipment, water and/or snacks
help supervise the band before/after/during parades
care for and inspect uniforms
help band students put away/clean up after the event

At football games, band chaperones are asked to -
wear the chaperone uniform to match the band
help band students get ready, including emergency uniform fittings and/or french-braiding hair
assist with equipment, water and snack moving towards the stadium
help supervise the band stand area
help set up for the field show
care for and inspect uniforms
help band students put away/clean up after the event
Band chaperones wear: The chaperone polo (Blazer blue color), black pants, and dark shoes (preferably black). This is so that our entire group looks unified and professional. The embroidered chaperone polo costs $15.
A WCPS volunteer screening form must be filled out and approved before you are allowed to chaperone an event. In many instances background checks and driver's license scans are needed (this is for if you will be working alone with students). The process can take a few weeks, so please submit paperwork promptly.
