How to Donate

The Food Shelf relies on the generous contributions from churches, individuals, businesses, foundations, schools, associations, and other groups in our community. Your contributions help us stock our shelves and fill our refrigerators with healthy food to ensure that no one in need goes hungry.

There are several ways in which you can contribute to the Food Shelf.

Donate Cash

Cash contributions make it possible for the Food Shelf to purchase food at a discounted rate from our food bank -- Second Harvest Heartland.

If you would like to donate cash to the Watonwan County Food Shelf, you can mail your check to:

Watonwan County Food Shelf

PO Box 123

St James, MN 56081

or drop off your monetary donation during our open hours.

Donate Food

In addition to cash contributions, we also rely on donations of food and personal care items.

Donations of food and personal care items may be brought to the Food Shelf during open hours or you may contact our Donation Coordinator, Lynette at 507-995-0400 to schedule a time to drop off donations.
