Cyanide * Kiss is a Canadian experimental band which originated in Hamilton, Ontario in 2002. The group released their initial recordings through Heart thROB records and later Mano A Mano records. Cyanide Kiss continued to record and tour until 2009 when they began taking their current extended break.

Amidst the chaos of 2002, Cyanide Kiss released a limited run demo CD called Out of Focus. The demo disc was recorded in a home studio at a time when USB interfaces, midi sounds and DAW's were not affordable. Rob & Jeff McKenna recorded much of the album through a stereo tape machine into a computer. The demo disc was released in Oct 2002 to trick future band members Matt and Adam Kras into joining the band.

The album "Elevated Tracks" is the reworking and elevating of tracks that were recorded between 2002 and 2009. The elevated tracks are taken from each of the bands prior releases: Here, Halcyon Daze, Corrupt Principles and Nobody's Perfect.
