"Rob McKenna was a miserable bastard and he knew it because he'd had a lot of people point it out to him over the years and he saw no reason to disagree with them except the obvious one which was that he liked disagreeing with people, particularly people he disliked, which included, at the last count, everyone."
One day after a Robot Apocalypse practice Rob McKenna noticed that one of his band members left behind their loop station. In his curiosity he started playing around with the loop station and hooked it up to his AWH analogue synth gear. The following track is based partially on past Audio Boffin's sound samples and already programmed AWH sequences. Released 20 years after Rob McKenna's very first music release.
"For a moment he felt good about this. A moment or two later he felt bad about feeling good about it. Then he felt good about feeling bad about feeling good about it and, satisfied, drove on into the night."
This song was recorded, forgotten, found, mixed and mastered between Jan 2020 and Oct 2022.

Chaac is the second solo album by Rob McKenna. This album was recorded as an experiment using mainly analog synths and sequencers during the COVID-19 self isolation of 2020. Since time seemed to slow, each month a new sequence was programmed and synths recorded. The mixing and mastering process was also a bit of an experiment with different mixing and mastering interfaces and patches.

Tlaloc is the first solo album by Rob McKenna. After his first band broke up, he started collecting instruments that he obtained free, either out of people's garbage or free off Kijiji. The album has a DIY sound mainly because it was recorded with the abandoned instruments, some of which had a hard time staying in tune.
