If qualified, Juniors going into their Senior year would select a top 5 career choice before any other Senior or High School Graduate. This allows them to get the more desired career fields! And of course, the high school student will not attend Basic Military Training until after Graduation (July-Sept 2022). It’s a great opportunity for those looking to get a head start on making a plan for their future.
Applicants Must:
-Be at least 17 years old
-Be a US citizen or permanent resident
-Be in good physical condition and health
-Be of good moral character.
- Take and pass the military entrance test (ASVAB)

NOTE: The marine corps do not have their own military academy - they utilize the Naval Academy as the Marines are considered under the US Department of the Navy.

Interested in learning about opportunities to attend a U.S. Service Academy for college are encouraged to apply to participate in a summer program. Each Academy’s summer program provides a week-long immersion into the academic, military, and social life of that Academy.
The Academy Introduction Mission (AIM) is a one-week summer program (held in July) where you’ll immerse yourself in Academy life. Exclusively for students entering their senior year of high school, AIM is regarded as the most realistic of the service academy summer orientation programs.
AIM will test and inspire you. It will push you to your limits. You’ll rise early. You’ll study. You’ll compete. For six non-stop days, you’ll test your mind, body and spirit in every way.
Intense and rewarding, AIM will help you to discover whether the Academy experience is truly what you want from college, and whether you have what it takes to succeed.
Enrollment Process Starts February 1

SLE gives you a taste of the character, determination, commitment to excellence, and leadership required to be a cadet at the U.S. Military Academy (USMA).

The United States Naval Academy Summer Seminar is the first step in navigating your future to becoming one of our nation's next generation of leaders.
If you are currently in your junior year of high school and considering the Naval Academy as your college of choice, we strongly recommend you consider applying to Summer Seminar. Summer Seminar will introduce you to life at the Academy, where you will experience first-class academic, athletic, and professional training. Your Summer Seminar application will also serve as a preliminary application to the Academy that you will complete before or during your senior year.
Thinking of a career as a coder, game developer, designer, or robotics engineer? Then start with the experience of a world-class program like the Naval Academy’s Summer STEM Program.

Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) has been supporting science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) events for over 30 years and conducting camps for almost 20 years. Our camps are world-class and feature a very impressive record of producing thousands of engineers and STEM leaders. They provide a rigorous experience for students interested in exploring STEM skills and careers.
Campers gain a sense of what it takes to become a STEM professional and what options exist to explore that interest from high school to college and beyond. Each camp has a unique curriculum that features hands-on activities that are conducted in competitive environments that promote teamwork, leadership, project management, and problem-solving.
