As we've transitioned to standards-based grading in K-5, these resources are designed to support and help you navigate the standards-based grading features in PowerTeacher Pro. and Schoology.
You’ll find guides, tutorials, and reference materials to make the process clear and manageable. Please review these resources to ensure consistency and accuracy in grading as we begin the new school year.
When multiple courses are rostered to the same teacher, the default course names will repeat (e.g., “Math - 5, Math – 5”), which can be repetitive and confusing. Teachers can personalize and simplify these names for easier navigation by following these directions.
New to the departmentalized model? This hub brings together quick tech tips, templates, and how-to guides to help you get organized and set up for success, from managing PowerSchool and Schoology to finding ready-to-use Smore resources.
Be sure to configure your gradebook with the correct standards-based settings so scores display as intended. The PTPro gradebook does not automatically sync with Schoology. For each course, you will need to set up your categories and map your Schoology gradebook to your PTPro gradebook. Once this is complete, it is set for the year!
For additional resources, like setting up and grading standards-based assignments, visit the Schoology page.
