Behind The Scenes Science Programmes

A Science and Technology Tour of the Islands of Adventure and Universal. You will have the opportunity to discover the sciences used to create the world’s most technologically-advanced theme park! The Behind the Adventure Tour showcases the physics behind the park. We will get to ride the Spiderman ride with the lights switched on! This will allow us to understand how all the special effects are used to make this ride. We will see the magnetic system used to propel the Hulk coaster and we will visit their ride labs and you will use Ipad's to collect data whilst ridding on the Rip Rocket Roller Coaster.

There is also a session with a Universal ride engineer where students can ask all the questions they have ever wanted to ask about Physics and ride design.
