Day 1: Travel Day
Depart from Wellington and fly to Orlando. Once we arrive in Orlando, we will meet our Educating Adventures representative, who will be with us for the duration of the tour. They ensure that everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
Day 2
Walt Disney World- Magic Kingdom
Today we will take part in an education program at the Magic Kingdom to see how optics and forces are used in ride design.
Day 3-8 Space Trek- Mission Robotics and Rockets
Today we transfer to cocoa beach where we spend the next five days completing a camp at Kennedy Space Center. The course will be based around Robotics and Rockets.
We will then go to Astronaut training followed by a sunset air boat ride in the everglades.
Day 9 :MGM Studios
A visit to the new Star Wars Land
Day 10
Spend the day exploring Universal Studios and Universal Islands of Adventure. The group will have park hopper passes, and will participate in the Behind the Adventure tour, focused on the physics of roller-coasters at Islands of Adventure. We will also have a Q and A session with a roller-coaster engineer.
Day 10: I-Fly and everglades
Today the group will experience I-Fly Orlando, an indoor skydiving and free fall experience. Then in the afternoon you will glide through the wetlands on a beautiful Florida wildlife tour. You will fly like the wind into the swamps experiencing the awesome feel of the airboat ride travelling up to 45mph. Boggy Creek Airboat rides is the best way to experience the beautiful Central Florida Everglades.
Day 11: Swimming with the manatees
Today we will head out to Crystal river where we will have the experience of a lifetime swimming with manatees.
Day 12: Houston and Home
Transfer to Houston to visit the Johnson Space center, here we will see real astronauts training and visit mission control.
Day 13-14: Arrive Home
Day 13 is lost as you cross the International dateline, then arrive home with wonderful memories of your American adventure on day 14!
