Year 9
COURSE GUIDE
Students in Year 9 are provided with an overall grounding in academic work. A breadth of experience is required across all learning areas to ensure a foundation of flexible pathway choices.
All Year 9 students will study in all Learning Areas: English, Mathematics, Science, Health and Physical Education, Technology, Languages, Arts, Social Sciences. All Year 9 students undertake a semester of Te Reo Māori. Options are offered for the other semester of language learning. All Year 9 students participate in a Drama programme at the end of the year.
