- Go to classroom.google.com and click on the + sign in the upper right hand corner
- Use classroom code: os36u6d
- Visit the Google Classroom and click on the Classwork tab
- View the Sample e-Learning Lesson Plan (you do NOT need to complete the items in the lesson plan) as an example
- Complete the exit ticket - view the exit ticket the way a student would to see what happens when they submit responses
By inviting parents into your Google Classroom, they will receive weekly summaries of their child's work. In this way, they can help support you!

Using daily exit tickets
Using daily exit tickets
- Every class, from PE to Art to Chemistry, already uses formative assessment to gauge/track student understanding and accountability
- Create and use daily exit tickets through Google Forms or Google Docs or another tool like PearDeck, etc.
- Post in Google Classroom as an assignment or email to students/parents
- Have the students “Mark as Done” when they have finished so that you know to take a look at it.
- Daily Exit tickets are formative assessments
- Enter results into Genesis as grades
