Non-Teaching Personnel

Expectations for all non-teaching personnel during this period are listed below. Note that additional information and expectations will be given by your direct supervisor.

Expectations for Remote Work

  • Respond to voicemails & emails within an hour
  • Check voicemail remotely
  • Use Google Hangouts or Meet to return phone calls and meet with other staff as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned by your supervisor

Note: With Google Hangouts, you can contact anyone outside of the WBOE domain using your computer or phone. It is advised that you do not associate your cell phone number with your Google account. Your phone number will come up as "Restricted" on Caller ID. Google Meet solely works within the WBOE domain, so you are limited to contacting staff and students with a WBOE address. However, Meet is connected to Google Calendar, and automatically sets up a Google Meeting when you create a calendar invite.

Expectations for All Country Club Personnel

Including all central office administrators & corresponding secretaries

Beginning on Wednesday, March 18, Country Club personnel work remotely between 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Expectations for Building-based Administrators

All building-based administrators are on call for parents and staff members during their contractual time.

In addition, they are expected to do the following:

  • monitor online instruction
  • review teacher lesson plans
  • support teachers needing assistance utilizing technology
  • hold/supervise/run weekly staff, department, and PLC meetings
  • respond to all emails during contractual time within an hour.

Expectations for Building-based Secretaries

Building-based secretaries are to work remotely from home during their contractual time.

Building

Facilities

  • Two custodians are assigned to each school building every day
  • These custodians work on a modified schedule
  • Each day, the school buildings are thoroughly cleaned with approved cleaning supplies/substances specifically intended to combat the spread of COVID-19
  • Building landscaping (lawn maintenance, etc.) is conducted by outside vendors that use approved COVID-19 safety measures such as social distancing
