Wayne County Virtual School is a public online school serving grades 7-12.
Students interested in this online program must:
Reside in Wayne County
Follow the calendar of the Wayne County School System
Come to the physical classroom to take state assessments (TCAP/EOC, Civics, ACT)
Follow all grade-specific guidelines (Example: Seniors- Apply for FAFSA)
Communicate with Administrators/Teachers weekly by zoom or in person
Complete daily assignments per personal calendar
Be committed to successfully completing each semester. You can't withdraw to another school until the semester ends.
Families who approve of their student partaking in this online program must:
Have access to reliable internet
Must attend orientation and any scheduled meetings with the program director, teachers, etc.
Agree to provide transportation to students who fail to "Attend" school and/or for state testing

If you are 15 years of age and wish to get your learner's permit, or are 16+ years of age and wish to get your driver's license, you must complete this form to notify Ms. Ladonna Edwards 3 + days in advance, so she can prepare and sign the form. It is an SF1010 Form (A certificate of Compulsory School Attendance) YOU MUST BRING THIS FORM to the DMV with you. The form is only valid for 30 days (unless it is summer).
