Welcome to 8th Grade. I am Mr. Marshall, one of the new 8th grade math teachers here at MPMS. This is my 7th year teaching in Georgia public schools, but it is my first year teaching mathematics. I have been teaching high school science since 2013 and before that I was the Laboratory Coordinator for the Science Department at the College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick. I graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and earned a Master's Degree in Marine Sciences from Savannah State University. Chemistry and Physics are both of great interest to me, and it is the application of math that really gets me enthused for teaching and learning. My hobbies include politics, and anything outdoors. The Okefenokee Swamp and the Ohoopee River are two of my favorite places on the planet.
