Math is the study of patterns and relationships. Mathematicians look for, analyze, graph, and describe patterns and relationships of and between real world objects, events, and interactions to help people understand the world around them and possibly make predictions about future impact and events.

At the end of this unit, I will be able to:

• Study a pattern and describe the relationship between corresponding terms.
• Write an algebraic expression that demonstrates the relationship between corresponding terms.
• Create an input/output table based on a rule, and graph and connect the terms on a coordinate grid to demonstrate that relationship.
