Concert Attire

Concert Choir and Sonoro members...

...will be fitted with choir robes in late October. Please be aware that anything visible under the hem of the robe should be black. Students must wear black slacks or skirts, socks and shoes. DO NOT wear yoga pants or sweat pants. Footwear should surround the heel and allow for quick and quiet movement on stage. DO NOT wear flip flops or high heels shoes.

Chorale members...

...have the choice of two options.

I. Black dresses will be fitted in late October. They have black velvet tops, tulip sleeves, subtle purple piping and black crepe A-line skirt. They are flattering for all body types and look very professional. Footwear should be black, it should surround the heel and allow for quick and quiet movement on stage. DO NOT wear flip flops or high heels shoes.

II. Purple Ties with a white “W” will be provided. Please provide a black button down dress shirt with collar tucked into black pants with a black belt. Please wear black shoes and black socks.

CONCERT DRESS CARE INSTRUCTIONS

1) They are machine washable. Please wash with like colors in a load without lots of zippers or velcro that might compromise the velvet.

2) PLEASE LAY FLAT TO DRY. They are machine washable, but NOT machine dry-able. So find a corner, lay down a towel and let the dry winter air do all the work.

3) The zipper tends to get stuck a little between the crepe skirt and the velvet top. Please take extra care when zipping so that they aren't forced.
