As your event approaches, make sure you have secured someone to capture the event through pictures and videos. Remember it is required you submit a minimum of 10 pictures and a 1-3 minute recap video. Hiring a paid (or in-kind sponsor) photographer is a worthy investment, as this will provide you future marketing materials!
Photo Requirements
Have a variety of types of shots:
Action shots, group shots, and mainly FELLOW-based shots!
Detail shots (welcome table, banners, food, etc.)
Program materials (flyers, handouts, agendas, etc.)
Photos in front of the Banner with partner logo, Watson logo, and your venture logo.
Specifics:
Have people look at the camera (unless it's an action shot)
Ensure a gender balance in group photos
Capture both posed and in-action shots
Fellow Etiquette (VERY IMPORTANT): While participants may not be required to dress professionally, as a Fellow, you should. This means looking professional by the standards of your culture, clearly dressed for leadership.
Video Requirements
This will allow our team to use this material for future training or sharing on our social media platforms to highlight the work you are doing! Be sure to include:
Action shots
Testimonials from participants, volunteers, guests
Proper branding of the sponsoring partner and Watson Institute
Appropriate music with no cursing
