Remember that not all classwork can be made up due to the nature of investigations and labs in science class. There is no way for students to gain the knowledge and experiences that they miss when absent. Please be present whenever possible.

Tuesday-The difference between weather and climate, climate zones (get paper in class) and notes on the effects of altitude and living things on climate; Wednesday-latitude and climate; Thursday-unequal heating, soil/water and thermal energy, topography's effect on climate; Friday-introduction to currents.

Monday-Review of water cycle and Incredible Journey simulation. Tuesday-Water Cycle test and layers of the atmosphere model. Wednesday-Reasons why there is life on Earth. Thursday and Friday-Greenhouse Effect and gases.

1/6-1/10 (Look on Google Classroom under the dates for this week)

Monday-Earth's four spheres (geosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere and atmosphere). Tuesday and Wednesday-water cycle model, vocabulary and journal work. Thursday-Mystery science. Friday-Quiz on the water cycle (demonstration of learning-must pass to take the assessment on Tuesday).

12/16-Water Cycle Inquiry on Google Classroom. Complete slides six and seven after interacting with every slide as directed. Due by Friday.
