The NESTT (Navigating Emotions and Stress Through Training) is a mental health center for students that are in need of assistance in the Right Now.
Over one in three students experience mental health crises every year. For many of these students, school serves as the frontlines for addressing these issues.
The NESTT provides a unique, collaborative approach to supporting students with trained staff to support the mental well-being of our school and community. The NESTT serves as a single area where students can go to access mental health/social-emotional support services and work with staff to build skills and strategies.Â
The skills, services, and support of the NESTT are backed by research rooted in trauma-informed practice to create a safe space for all students and a trauma-sensitive school experience.
