Mental Health Program Directory
ND Health & Human Services has created a directory of all of the mental health services across the state. You can search by location, types of conditions they specialize in, and types of therapy you are looking for. They have adult and children services listed separately as well. This makes the process of getting additional assistance faster and easier!
McLean County Family Resource Center-Washburn
The Resource Center is a great place to go for help with escaping a domestic violence situation, a clothing outlet, food pantry, and other assistance to help those in need in our community.

Title IV Preventative Services
The goal of this program is to help provide additional support for families that are struggling in ND. The service providers intent is to provide enhanced support to children and families in the areas of physical and mental health. The offer online virtual options for individual as well as family therapy to help with a variety of issues.

NDSU Extension Parenting Classes
The NDSU Extension office offers a number of parenting classes offered in person and online to help you with a variety of issues your child may be facing. These classes can help transform your parenting and help your child if he/she is struggling.
Online Resources
This is a great resource to talk about all things related to technology and being safe online. Topics include Cyberbullying, Sexting, Livestreaming, Social Media, Gaming, Smartphone, and more! A great resource if your child is struggling with technology safety.
Are you struggling with bullying issues? This resources help to define bullying, cyberbullying, prevention methods, and ideas for what the school and students can do to make the situation better. This is a complex issue and the resources here are a great starting point to help!
Washburn uses the Zones of regulation language to help give students and emotional vocabulary, understand expected/unexpected behavior, and learn coping tools to calm down when feelings get too big. This resources is a great overview for parents to learn about Zones and how you can keep the conversation going at home!
