Hello I am Kelly Reynolds. I am the Student Support Services Guidance Counselor. I started teaching and working in the Warren County School System in 2000 as a Special Education Teacher. I was in the classroom for 21 years and now I am excited to serve students as a guidance counselor. I am a WKU graduate with both my undergraduate and master's degree in Special Education and I have a second master's degree (Rank I) in School Counseling. I came to South Warren High School in 2012. My goal as a guidance counselor is to meet the individual needs of my students, help them reach their goals, and prepare them for a successful journey after high school.
When I am not inside the school building, I can most often be found at the softball field. I am the Head Softball Coach at South Warren High School. I've had the privilege of coaching the team since 2018 and I am very passionate about softball and our program at SWHS.
My husband, Jason, and I have been married for 25 years and we have two children, Emily (2021 SWHS graduate) and Ethan (2025 SWHS graduate). Emily is working on her Criminal Justice Master's Degree at Campbellsville University and will be a Graduate Softball Assistant Coach for Campbellsville's softball team. Ethan will be a freshman at Western Kentucky University as a Biology major and will be playing baseball for the TOPS! The majority of our time is spent at an athletic complex, and we would not have it any other way!
I am looking forward to meeting our SPARTANS!
