I am Tammy Hightower, school counselor for all students with the last name P through Z. I began my work in education in Christian County as an elementary Physical Education teacher after graduating from Western Kentucky University. In 2011, I took an elementary counselor position and I have spent the last seven years working as a high school counselor at Christian County High School. I am excited to start my 20th year in education as a Spartan here at South Warren. I enjoy working with young people and helping them to reach their full potential. I love the moment when I see my students celebrate their success and attain their goals.
My family keeps me hopping and on the go. My husband, Steven and I have been married for 17 years and we have four children and two dogs. My family and I enjoy spending time at the beach, golf course, lake, volleyball court, and hanging out around the pool. I absolutely love holidays and birthdays (you might catch me singing), and I value my family and friend time. I love my people fierce. My mom has inspired me my entire life to spread love and kindness, and know that someone is always looking to you as a role model. My dad encouraged me to do for others, be honesty, and work hard. I am looking forward to moving my family to Bowling Green and joining the community events. I so excited for this opportunity to work with the students at South Warren. Lastly remember to live, laugh, love, and enjoying those around you because tomorrow is never promised. Go Spartans!!
