Fragrance Free

Due to the chemical sensitivity, the clinic is a fragrance-free zone. Please refrain from wearing perfume, sprays, or cologne. This includes scented hand lotions and hand sanitizers. 

Removal of Outdoor Footwear 

In an effort to keep allergens, dust, and dirt out of the building, please remove your outdoor footwear when visiting the clinic. Slippers are provided for your convenience however you are welcome to bring your own indoor footwear if you prefer.

Consultation Process

• • Consultations can be completed in-person or virtually. 

• • Children

    • One consultation per child. Please book a separate consult for each child.

    • Guardian encouraged to attend consultation without children present as sensitive information regarding learning needs may be shared.

Payment

• Debit or credit at the time of your appointment (as per contract of agreement). 

Fees

• Pre-payment may be requested. 

Cancellation

• • 24 hours prior required to cancel or re-schedule appointment without charge.

Scheduled appointments are reserved especially for you. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment a minimum of 24-hours notice prior to the appointment date/time is required.

Due to the resources and individualized preparation required for consultation, clients with less than 24-hours notice or no-shows will be charged the original fee.

Assessment Process

• To protect the integrity and validity of the standardized tests, assessments are completed in-person.

• Children

  • To ensure validity of scores, a guardian may be required to be available nearby space but not in the office.

  • To ensure validity of scores, siblings cannot be present.

Payment

• Debit or credit at the time of your appointment (as per contract of agreement). 

Fees

• • Pre-payment may be requested. 

Re-scheduling or Cancellation

• • 24 hours prior.

    • Virtual options are not encouraged for assessments.

  • A contract ensures assessment or diagnostic teaching treatment plan is completed within the agreed upon time line.

    • Timely completion is required to monitor developmental progress and retention (ie. consolidation of reading processing skills). 

  • Ability to reschedule appointment dependent on availability of practitioner.

    • A guardian may be required to observe so strategies can be practiced between sessions.

    • To ensure effectiveness, it is encouraged siblings not be present.

Fees

• Pre-payment may be requested. 

Re-scheduling or Cancellation

• • • 24 hours prior.

      • Virtual option may be favoured over cancellation. 

    • A contract ensures assessment or diagnostic teaching treatment plan is completed within the agreed upon time line.
