String Lessons
Students participate in FREE group lessons during the school day, once a week for twenty-five minutes. Fourth and fifth grade orchestra students and fifth grade band students receive an additional ensemble class during one recess.
These additional band or orchestra rehearsals occur during the year in a big group setting allowing students to gain experience playing in an ensemble where there are multiple parts being played at the same time. These rehearsals include all students taking lessons for that grade.
