Welcome to the Waltham High School Building Project

This website will inform the Waltham community about where we stand in the MSBA process, why we need a new high school and other important details.

This is an exciting time in Waltham!  In so many ways, the Waltham Public Schools operate from a position of strength.  We know we deliver programs and opportunities to our students that most communities only dream about. We want to expand those opportunities for all students.  We are fortunate to have so many great teachers and educators in our system, and this is true at the high school where our teachers have the skills to prepare all of our students for the college or career of their choice.  We are one community and we are excited and inspired to deliver a state of the art high school that provides an enriching, project-based education that prepares all students for college, career and the demands of the 21st century.

Join our Team!  In addition to the 10 CTE programs Waltham High School currently offers, we are adding 4 new programs:  HVACR, Cosmetology, Programming & Web Development and Environmental Science.  We are seeking teachers for the 2024-25 school year to develop the curriculum, market the programs, recruit students, organize the advisory boards and consult with the project team on the facilities.  This is a great opportunity for the professional with industry experience or soon-to-be Retirees!  Waltham Public Schools offers competitive salaries and a generous benefits package in a collegial, supportive environment.  Be a part of the WHS Team!!  Candidates may apply on our website:  https://wpsd.tedk12.com/hire/index.aspx
