What is Prospect:
The position of prospect is the opportunity to prove you have the leadership and resilience to become Prefect.
Becoming a Prefect is a journey to excellence. If you are struggling to answer any questions, then don't worry and, most of all, don't be put off - you can do something about it.
All of the criteria in the application is what we look for in a successful Prefect. If you don't have those skills and qualities yet, then you have the time to work on it.
A successful Prefect application in June reflects the journey of personal development you have taken from where you are now and where you will be at the beginning of Year 11. Some of you will already display all the skills and qualities required, some of you wont - that's fine. We all come from different backgrounds and starting points in life, but we all have the same opportunities to succeed.
The Prospect position a token of recognition for those that are firmly on the pathway to leadership, but at the same time, it's opportunity for reflection and aspiration - between where you are now and where you see yourself in the future.
This application helps you, and the school, learn more about your skills and qualities. Where you are now as a leader and what you can do to become a leader.
In special circumstances, the position of Prospect will be offered to pupils lower down the school to pupils who completed all Stars & Stripes challenges.
Please read the Student Leadership Pledge before making your application.
