SENSIBLE

Monday, is when we reward those that have proven their Sensible qualities all academic year with an invite to Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

THOUGHTFUL

Tuesday, each year group has a themed topic to raise awareness, becoming Thoughtful about how negative choices can impact our lives.

AMBITIOUS

Wednesday, is when we go crazy Ambitious. Ambition is all about pushing yourself to improve, to try new activities and learning new skills. Everyone gets involved running trips and hosting fun activities within school. We had everything from Bollywood Dancing to Tennis Coaching to Animations clubs in school. It was spectacular!

We also had plenty of trips running externally too, with trips to Footgolf, Paintballing and Manley Mere, to name but a few.

Ambitious Day develops friendships and memories. There is strong emphasis on the benefits of enrichment and participation in extracurricular activity. You may still ask, why is this is Ambitious? - Have a look at out STARS WEEK ACTIVITY BOOKLET and the planning involved and you'll realised it was just as ambitious for staff too!

Respect

Thursday, is when the whole school took part in a 7 mile charity walk to raise money for Ronald McDonald House. We proved we were Respectful our our environment by collecting rubbish from our local community along the way.

SUPPORTIVE

Friday is when all get together through sport being Supportive of one another, taking part in our fabulous Walkden High Sports Day
