When should students test? Summer before Senior Year! Register for the SAT/ACT in the Spring of Junior Year. Take the test over the summer and/or in the Fall of Senior year. Begin testing earlier if you are planning on testing multiple times.

Free SAT/ACT Prep
Throughout the academic year, High Performance Tutoring is proud to offer FREE ACT & SAT Prep Workshops via Zoom every Thursday at 4:00 PM PDT! We will cover essential study techniques and testing strategies proven to raise test scores. In the first 10 minutes we briefly introduce both tests for those unfamiliar with the SAT and ACT. Next, we move into a discussion of essential testing strategies such as timing, process of elimination, and estimation. We spend rest of the workshop going over specific concepts or problems the students in attendance would like to work on, and also explain the best methods and resources available for studying.
The is a great opportunity for students to master the ACT and SAT tests. If your child is a sophomore, junior, or senior and has not reached their goal score on either test, these workshops will be extremely helpful. Please encourage your child and their classmates to attend. EVERYONE is welcome!
