TalkLink Trust is a New Zealand-based charitable organisation dedicated to supporting individuals with communication and participation challenges due to disabilities. Established in 1991, TalkLink provides assistive technology (AT) tools and strategies to help people communicate, learn, and interact with their environment more independently. TalkLink specialises in Communication Assistive Technology, also known as Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). The organisation offers both low-tech solutions, such as communication boards and books, and high-tech options, including speech-generating devices and communication apps on tablets.TalkLink provides assistive technologies to aid in writing, learning, and environmental control. This includes devices and software that assist with writing, memory support, and controlling aspects of one's environment, tailored to individual needs.TalkLink serves individuals of all ages across New Zealand who face difficulties with speaking, writing, learning, or controlling their environment due to various disabilities, including physical, sensory, cognitive, intellectual, and age-related conditions.
