After working in the Graphic Design industry for 12 years in the United Kingdom. I decided I wanted a new challenge.

I moved to New Zealand and gained a Graduate Diploma of Teaching at Christchurch College of Education. I then over a 9 years, taught at two different colleges before becoming an Art teacher at Waiopehu College.

My aim as an Art teacher was to create a welcoming, safe and engaged department, where students are put at the center of everything we do. Where students are listened to and their own talents and experiences are listened to.
