Visual Art @ Waiopehu College

After working in the Graphic Design industry for 12 years in the United Kingdom. 

I moved to New Zealand and gained a Graduate Diploma of Teaching at Christchurch College of Education. Over a 9 year period I taught at two different colleges before becoming an Art teacher at Waiopehu College.

My aim as an Art teacher was to create a welcoming, safe and engaged department, where students are put at the centre of everything we do. Where students are listened to and their own talents and experiences are listened to.

Mr Bridge has extensive knowledge of both Practical and Digital Art making. 

Whaea Ruth is a young and vibrant teacher who loves to create.

She has been teaching at Waiopehu College for 3 years and has built a strong and positive connection with her learners.
