Virtual Academy
The full-time virtual learning program is a flexible educational program that offers a curriculum that meets graduation requirements. Full-time virtual students will be enrolled in 7 online courses needed for high school graduation. Access to online coursework as well as support from onsite teachers are provided. To be considered for the Virtual Academy, students must contact our Virtual Academy Coordinator, Mr. Alan Muehlenweg by email at amuehlenweg@wagonerps.org and complete an application. The Virtual Academy Committee will meet and determine if the student meets the criteria to participate in the Virtual Academy. Upon acceptance, all virtual students will be required to participate in a virtual school orientation meeting before starting their online classes. If students are not making sufficient progress toward timely class completion they will be removed from the Virtual Academy and transitioned back to a traditional classroom setting at semester. Virtual students will be responsible for all rules and regulations set out in the student handbook.
