Uniform Care

Beret

• Moulded (fold on right hand side)

• Ribbons tied tightly at back, surplus ribbon removed and remaining ends tucked into leather band

• Flash sewn (horizontal stripes, square shape – see picture below)

• Cap badge central on flash

Smock

• Ironed flat with no creases

• Hood rolled

• Pockets done up

• Green Tiger patch sewn onto left hand patch (parallel to union flag – see picture below)

Shirt

• Ironed (if shirts have pockets in the lower sleeve then they should be ironed flat with no creases)

• Sleeves with crease (shirts with no pockets on lower sleeve only)

• Collar pressed

• Blue Tiger patch sewn onto left hand patch (parallel to union flag – see picture below)

Trousers

• Ironed flat with no creases down the front or back

Belt

• Correctly adjusted to fit round waist, NOT down on hips

Boots

• Polished

• Clean laces

Washing Instructions

• Wash and dry at 40ºc and follow instructions on the label
